Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PureTools ("we", "us") handles information when you use puretools.theblankstate.com (the "Site"). The short version: the codes you create are generated in your browser and are not sent to us, but like most free websites we use advertising partners that may use cookies.

1. Data you enter into the generators

QR codes, barcodes, 2D codes and bulk files are generated locally by JavaScript running in your browser. The content you type or upload (for example URLs, WiFi credentials, contact details, product numbers and spreadsheet rows) is processed on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Data stored on your device

Nothing you generate is written to a server. The "recent codes" list and the values in the generator fields live in memory while the page is open and disappear when you close or reload it. Generated images are only saved where you choose to download them, and a bulk ZIP download hands you the codes and the results manifest directly.

3. Hosting and server logs

The Site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver the Site, protect it from abuse and produce aggregate statistics. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at www.aboutads.info.
  • Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management message before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link shown by that message.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site for hosting logs.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise your rights, contact us.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
